Description
This Barrica White Wine 2021 is a pale golden wine, made with organically grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It displays an aromatic symphony of fresh fruits, appearing dry, elegant and balanced. Made with care, this wine reflects the essence of the terroir where the grapes took root.
Production and Bottling
Made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown organically in poor, calcareous soils, with a density of 2,200 vines per trellised hectare. The harvest is carried out manually early in the day to take advantage of the cooler hours, followed by manual selection of the ideal clusters.
The clusters are cooled and left to macerate with the skins for approximately 10 hours to extract their maximum aromatic potential before fermentation. Only the flower must is used, which is decanted by gravity for 24 hours and then fermented at a temperature of approximately 17ºC. After fermentation, the fine lees are removed and placed in barrels until the ideal balance between the wine, its aromatic and gustatory profile, and the contribution of wood is obtained.
