Company Information

The company Wilkin & Sons Limited was founded in 1885 by Mr. A. C. Wilkin. The Wilkin family owns around 400 hectares of land around Tiptree, where they grow fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, red plums and the famous Little Scarlet strawberries, which have been cultivated for more than 100 years. The other varieties of fruit that cannot be grown at Tiptree are imported from the best regions of the world. Upon arrival at the factory, all the fruits are washed and sorted by hand before starting the production process. Wilkin & Sons Ltd. never uses artificial colors or preservatives and does not work with or for other companies. The final product bears the famous oval “Tiptree” label, a guarantee of the highest quality for gourmets around the world.
