Description
Comté Marcel Petite Gourmandise is a pressed semi-hard cheese, made exclusively from raw cow's milk in the French Alps. This cheese is produced from the milk of cows of the Montbéliarde and Simmental breeds, which feed on natural grasses in summer and hay in winter. The Comté is characterized by its enormous wheels that can weigh up to 40 kilos, using more than 400 liters of milk to produce a single wheel. During its production, the milk is heated to 54°C for 60 minutes and then pressed, before maturing in cellars for between 10 and 13 months.
