Description

Moliterno al Tartufo is a hard Italian cheese made in Sardinia by Central Formaggi. This trendy cheese stands out for its exquisite truffle flavor and aroma, obtained through the incorporation of black summer truffles (Tuber aestivum Vitt. 5%). Made from raw sheep's milk and matured for at least 4 months, the cheese is pressed and brought to 48°C. After this maturation period, black truffles are injected into the cheese, allowing the aroma of the truffle to slowly diffuse through the paste, creating a unique and delicate flavor profile.

Moliterno al Tartufo presents a delicate truffle flavor with a rich and characteristic aroma. The truffle injection technique creates veins distributed throughout the cheese, allowing the truffle flavor to completely permeate the pasta.
